My truck is a Mercedes G class 230 GE from 1988, limited anniversary edition ( only 300 pieces were build in 88 ). The first owner was Mercedes Benz Romania ( it was a showroom car ) then the owner of a Romanian company that produces for Mercedes wood ornaments and finally me.

Major modification...let's see: first I replaced the original small engine with a bigger one ( 3 liter gas engine from a Mercedes S class -1996, 225 HP. 100 HP more then the original engine) . Then a manual 5 speed gear box - from a diesel Mercedes van ( good torque) . Most difficult was to make them fit together. After that a suspension body lift and 33'' Goodyear MT tyres. Then custom made front and rear protection, and bigger fender flares. In a couple of days it is going to receive a custom made snorkel and a Warn front winch.

I go wheeling in Carpathian Mountains ( incredible beautiful landscapes and lots of wild life ); the terrain is a mixture of rocks and mud . I also like wheeling in Danube Delta area ( it's like you go back in time ).

I really enjoy seeing real 4WD vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There are so many highway bound posers that never go off the pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in Iceland is really refreshing.
