1995 Range Rover County LWB aka "Land Limo" (purchased 2005); 1977 Land Rover 101 Forward Control GS aka "Lord Wilkinson" (purchased 2006).

On t he RR, only basic mods thus far...coil spring conversion, Bilstein dampers, Brembo brake rotors with Ferodo pads, 245/75R16 Bridgestone Dueler APTIII tires. This is my daily driver but I hope to eventually add driving lamps, a roof rack, heavy duty steering link/tie rod, full underbody protection and possibly a 2" lift.

On the 101FC, no mods yet but suspension and tire upgrades are planned for the immediate future. I may also add racing seats with 4 point harnesses. The previous owner installed a CD player and traded the military spec seats for a more comfortable pair of basic bucket seats. Both trucks are very capable as they sit, but of course I want more!!
I've only wheeled near home (Tennessee) but that will change as I get more experience. The terrain in Middle and East Tennessee is rocky with plenty of mud and high water crossings when it rains. The East Tennessee mountains are home to the infamous Tellico ORV Area.
My 101FC is a former Radar Tracking Rapier
vehicle which served in Germany with 12 Air Defense Regiment (1980-1981
and 1984-1994) and 16 Air Defense Regiment (1981-1984). Its British Army
registration number was 75 FL 34 and its civilian UK number plate was
TPA 112R. If you remember this truck, please drop me a line!

I really enjoy seeing real 4WD
vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There
are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.
