G4 Challenge Winner:
Rudi Thoelen I have always felt an attraction towards the G4 Challenge because of it's endurance tests and it's fame. So getting the story from one of it's winners is something I've looked forward to for a long time. As a rule of the thumb I always start with the most obvious of questions? Why off road? Why not motorcycles or stamp collection? |

Iceland
Motorcycle Video: Ron Douglas I've known Ron Douglas since I bought the Sport Trac from him a few years ago. He turned out to be a true friend. Ron is always coming up with fresh ideas and when he wanted to do a motorcycle tour around Iceland and make a documentary video about it, I was all for it. Ron made all the arrangements and took his friend Jon Hulme out here with him. We set out with two motorcycles and my Sport Track. |

4x4 Interview: Simon Buck "I started driving off road at an early age, as I spent most of my youth on a neighbors farm and from there I went on to grass track racing and stock cars. It wasn't until the early nineties that I started off roading competitively as there was very little 4x4 competitions. I suppose you would have to say that events like the Camel Trophy inspired me." |

I really enjoy seeing real 4WD
vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There
are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.
