November started with a volcanic eruption in Vatnajokull ice-cap that lasted a few days. It is getting colder as winter is starting we are already seeing a couple of snow flakes on the ground. Lets hope global warming has not taken real winter away from us here in Iceland. I just bought a new truck! It is a 2001 Explorer Sport Track. It is now in Colorado and I intend on taking a trip over there and drive it myself to Norfolk where it will be shipped to Iceland. This truck will be a special project vehicle for the web site. The trip story with lots of pictures will be up as soon as I am back. Ken Evoy of SiteSell has just released a new e-book - Make Your Content PREsell! Ken introduced a beta version of the book for the members of the Site Build It! Forums. I was lucky enough to be one of the first in the forums to read it and the funny thing was that I couldn't stop reading until I had finished the whole book! Here is the actual comment I wrote in the forums (I got there first!):
The book begins by stating the not so obvious fact that anyone can write! It's just as easy as talking to a friend. It then goes on to describe the importance of Content leading to Traffic and then PREselling to finally Monetize (C-T-P-M). Unlearning what you where taught in school by getting into FLOW and the finer details of Content PREselling are covered with some great examples from fellow SBI! webmasters. So what are the real BENEFITS this book delivers ? It will help you...
No other book in the world shows you
how to do this. So... P.S. I did rent the movie FINDING FORRESTER. It's a real family movie. Sean Connery and Rob Brown are just great. It really shows that when you set your mind to it you can do anything! Especially in writing - Just start typing. "Pound those keys, dawg".
1994 80 Series Toyota Land cruiser formerly known as Siggibilt. The truck was one of the first 80 series 4.2l turbo diesel auto-trans LCs imported into Australia. It was actually used by Toyota Australia for press testing. At the time, I was living in Australia, and wanted to introduce the Australian 4X4 community to Icelandic modifications. To this end, I translated the Icelandic regulations and presented them to the New South Wales (NSW) Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA), along with images of Icelandic vehicles that were similarly modified. I also presented my ideas to Toyota Australia, as at that time most 44" modified search and rescue vehicles were based on the 80 series LC. Read the article and see the pictures here!

I suggest you download the ones that interest you and I would love to hear your thoughts on them. If you like you can send me questions about how you can go about starting your own site. The space of ideas is without limits. Your experience and knowledge is something you can and should share with the world. It will make the world richer in so many ways.
