A Note From The Editor

I just came back from our first vacation for years! It was really great. A luxury cruise on the Caribbean. The downside is that I have a HUGE backlog of things to attend to :)

At the same time the 4x4OffRoads.com site has been growing as fast as ever. This month we estimate that a quarter of a million visitors enjoy the site. This pushes our efforts to the max - both in increasing the width and depth of the site.

As you can see there are a number of great new articles. Two from Rumania, written by Radu, our newest photojournalist who is now living in England. One article comes all the way from Iraq - where a team of US soldiers juiced up an older Land Cruiser. Not to mention all the cool 4x4s coming through the Readers Rigs section.

	Used 4x4s For Sale! Time has come to open a special website for easy access to selected 4x4 trucks and SUVs. The 4x4Sale.net web provides a convenient way to search for used 4×4s for sale on eBay.
	Inspirational Truck Wallpaper Trucks and 4x4s have always been my inspiration and joy. Trucks that are used to get to places that are hard to reach using most other means of transportation. Trucks that have served the owners and trucks that owners have modified and improved to make them an extension of themselves.
	Turbo Charged Down Range When most soldiers are deployed over seas, also known as being down range, they try and find anything to help occupy their time. The guys from the 7th Engineer Dive Team take a completely wrecked vehicle and turn it into a turbo charged work truck, or more importantly, a stress reliever.
	Off Road Recon Off road lovers don’t just meet at contests. They meet up for a weekend in the forest, a drive in the fields or a week in the mountains. We set up a little get together after new year to celebrate 2008 and enjoy a week away from civilization and in the comfort of the tracks.
	Xtreme Rock Racing Series 2008 - Calendar The calendar schedule for the 2008 Xtreme Rock Racing Series is now ready. Take a look and see if you can make it to any of the events. 4x4OffRoads will try to attend some and take pictures and write about the experience.
	Formula Off Road 2008 Schedule The dates and locations for the Formula Off Road calendar in 2008 is getting pretty definite. Check it out and see if you have the opportunity of attending one of the events. Go to the bottom of the page to see the schedule.
	Off Road Adventure Romania - Christmas Perhaps one of the most unique attributes of the off road spirit is that of helping each other, on and off the tracks, whether it's giving a sprocket or a knob to another contestant or people around us who have been disadvantaged, who live in remote areas of the country and have no access to food, water or phone lines.
