A Note From The Editor

A lot of things are going on for us 4 wheelers. As you can see by the variety of articles that are up it is steadily growing and I hope in the right direction. The three glacier tour was great fun and gave me a good opportunity to try out the PitBull MadDog tires. I also went to the Land Rover 60 years celebration party here in Iceland where the owners dressed up like safari adventurers of the old school.

R.T. writes about the Land Rover Billing Show with more coming soon.

And Emily from Ohio gives us a glimpse of the US 4 wheeling jamboree scene.

	4 Wheel Jamboree Nationals American 4x4 lovers come from far and wide to the annual 4 Wheel Jamboree Nationals in Lima, Ohio. This year, the 3-day event began on May 16th and attracted suped-up trucks big and small. In 2008, the Jamboree Nationals will be hosted by eight separate events in seven states across the U.S.
	Land Rover Billing Show 2008 Summer is fast approaching and, for Land Rover enthusiasts all over Europe this can only mean one thing. It’s what all Landy forums have been talking about since the beginning of the year.
	Land Rover 60 Years Anniversary Land Rover is celebrating 60 years of production. Land Rover was originally just one vehicle; an all-terrain, utility machine, styled after a military vehicle, but aimed at civilian operation.
	Tread Lightly! & Hummer Grant-Giving General Motor’s HUMMER division and the nonprofit organization Tread Lightly!® announced today the launch of a new partnership called HUMMER’s Recreation Rescue, which will provide grants to outdoor recreation sites. The grants will be dedicated towards land use education, management and trail maintenance.
	PitBull MadDog Tires Review I just got a big package sent from the USA. A set of brand new PitBull MadDog 39 inch tires for me to put to the test and share my findings. PitBull tire manufacturer are focusing first and foremost on the off road market and that is a great plus. They are therefore more in touch with the needs of 4 wheelers.
	OffRoading Three Ice-Caps We just made a really good off roading tour. Starting up from Thingvellir and heading north towards Langjokull ice-cap. The weather is as good as it can be with clear sky and a light northerly breeze. We can't help but stop to enjoy the mountain view and of course to take pictures.

Already there are a number of nice trucks up. My plan is to make these pages high-quality and accessible and I need your help in doing so. Almost all 4x4's are unique and I am sure yours is in some way. Share your experience and allow the rest of the 4 wheeling world to see your truck and how it is used...

Take some time in describing your 4x4 and how you enjoy it. Use as many words as needed. As more rigs are added I get more picky - choosing only the most interesting rigs with lots of information and an unusual story.

I review all wishes and use to build a list for the most wanted, which I then prioritize according to demand.
