A few of the more interesting offroad events taking place in the United States this June.

Drummond Island is located off Michigan’s remote Eastern Upper Peninsula. It is just a short ferry ride from Michigan. The island is an off roader’s paradise. It has everything from rugged terrains to mud and water. There are about 40 inland lakes and a long stretch of 250 miles of shoreline. One of the best scenes in Drummond Island is the Marble Head. This brings participants to the edge of a 90 foot drop overlooking Lake Huron with occasional views of the wildlife in the area.

Penn’s Woods trails in Bradwood, Pennsylvania provide different levels of difficulty for off roaders. There are mild trails for newbie and challenging trials for expert and adventurous drivers. The trail is set in pristine forests rarely disturbed by visitors. Once on the trail you can get a glimpse of logging and oil drilling activities in some of the properties in the area. You can go for a side trip on history museums and the Kinzua Train Viaduct.

I really enjoy seeing real 4WD
vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There
are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.
