Receiving testimonials about my site is one of my greatest joys. A lot of blood, sweat and tears have gone into the creation of the 4x4OffRoads.com site. It's popularity is constantly growing and I know that you like what you read here.
I put my site up for review at the new Site Build It! Forum. What I got was unbelievable. I am just speechless with pride! I was hoping for something positive, but this way OVERdelivers my wildest imagination. Diana in Missouri is an experienced marketing professional who also is a fellow Site Build It! user:

I loved the four wheel drive site. I am a photographer and an outdoorsman. Your site kept my interest for better than an hour, just looking at the great photos and reading about 4 x 4's. I am a very visual person and have trouble receiving or conveying ideas without the use of pictures. We have been told to keep the graphics to a minimum and use text instead, but our sites would be nothing without our photographs. The results are slow loading pages. I waited for yours gladly because I wanted to finish the glacier trip with you. Dennis from Shadebuilder.com |

Iceland... Nice Land!! Just a short note to say how much I have enjoyed browsing your web site. My brother has recently married an Icelandic girl, whom he had been dating for 6 years, and as such I have been to Iceland many times more - recently two weeks this July. In addition to the relatively unspoiled beauty of the country, one of my most enduring memories is that of the lifted 4 x 4s. As a Land Rover enthusiast, I am pleased to see them growing in popularity in Iceland ' and the 38' Defender on your web site looks great. I must admit, I do secretly desire to build such a beastie my self and inflict it upon the UK roads no matter how ridiculous that sounds ' or at least bundle it on a Smyril Line ferry from Lerwick and head back to Iceland to play. Should I ever start the project, I will let you know of progress. I have signed up for your newsletter and look forward to revisiting your site. Best regards Paul |

First let me say thank you for putting "This" all together it is very refreshing to see and read. 1976 was the year that I had built my first 4x4. I was quite disappointed in what was available then in and on the market-so I built one. This was a one ton Chevy van converted to 4WD. What an undertaking, but all the hours was filled with joy. As I got older other things came to play in my life (like earning a living) and my joy was set aside. I purchased the Tahoe in order to reignite the old feelings, then the purchase of the Astro as an every day work car, now further enhances those feelings. But there was still an emptiness inside until I had stumbled upon your site. Ignition has taken place and now the ideas are flowing once again like it was 30 years ago. So thank you!. What I would like to see the most? ALL the information is superb and personal it speaks to me as well as to others. Change nothing. Again Thank You Thrandur, soon I need to go to Iceland and experience all of those rolling dougnets and thunder. I am also considering in transporting my vehicles to Iceland to be retrofitted. I really enjoy seeing real 4WD
vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There
are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.
