Willys in Pakistan
Hello friends I am Hassan Aziz from Pakistan. Here in Pakistan Willys are really popular specially in Rawalpindi, a city of Pakistan. In Rawalpindi there's an area where all the Jeeps specially 1942 Willys and 1952 m3bs are restored. Here it's easy because we can find their original bodies and parts from auction.
I have recently restored an MB and M38 and Willys pickup 1961 model all
with petrol engines. I had to face some problems when I was restoring
the gear of Willys 1942. The parts related to gear of 1942 are now very
less here.
Anyway it's really fun to restore an World War Jeep. And after we
restore it, when we drive that monster its really a wonderful feeling.
It's the same feeling as if we are in the era of the 1940s.

I really enjoy seeing real 4WD
vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There
are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.

The whole 4x4 thing is new to me so i have a lot
to catch up on, i am going to get involved in a 4x4 club here in
Varna as there are vast amounts of tracks and mountains to explore
the news letter is boss:) and i especially like to look at readers
rigs

Not all people know how to go offroad,prepare
vehicles to go offroad, or know how to get themselfs prepared to go
offroad. this website is a wonderful way for people to learn how.I
even learn some new tricks.thanks
