1964 Hanomag Al28 4×4

Rick Botts owns this trusty 1964 Hanomag Al28 4×4. He lives in Germany and offroad vehicles are his way of life! He also owns a Lada Niva 4×4 and a dunebuggy.

The Truck is only a 2,7l Diesel with a blower and the max speed is 80 km/h. Only modifications are a new solar battery charger and new tires.

The Hanomag is a reliable truck. Equipped with solar, a small kitchen , toilet, gas heater and room for three people. With a 74 gallon diesel tank and an approximate range of 750 miles  it is good for traveling.
It might not be fast, but you get there. Snow or Mud , no problem – and no lift needed 🙂

Rick goes wheeling on the Autobahn to transport the BUGGY to the interesting Places.

Rick had an interesting experience when a delivery truck going at 160 km/h (100 mph) hit him in the rear and he got out of the truck with just a scratch.
