Suzuki started making 4×4’s in the 60’s. It started out very basic and has kept that tradition. Jimny, Samurai, Sierra and later the much improved Vitara and Grand Vitara. Affordable and light vehicles.
The first Suzuki 4×4 had a lot in common with the original Jeep. Similar dimensions and the same bolt pattern. Short and light weight made them ideal for easy handling and not sinking into deep mud.
