I just installed a new 400CI engine, and built C-6. I plan to lift it a couple of inches and cut the front wheel wells out to be able to accommodate larger tires and increase travel. Other modifications are the flatbed, the headache rack and sides that I just recently completed.

I mainly go wheeling in the mountains of northern California and western Nevada. Mostly rocky terrain, lots of snow in winter months. Although I plan to hit the Rubicon once the rig is complete.

This truck holds a whole lot of sentimental meaning. You see, my father bought it for 100.00 after it had been rolled back in 1981. He and I spent a lot of time together fixing it up. You might say that it was the one thing that he and I enjoyed doing together. When he died about 3 months ago I took possession of the rig. So in his memory I am trying to make it into the one of a kind 4x4 that I know he always wanted it to be.
