2004 Ford E-250

Don’t offroad much except to skid logs or whole trees on my jobs. Needed a rig that could haul my Dad in his wheel chair on the weekends and my chainsaws and climbing gear during the week. A van was the answer. Being a life long Ford Fan, an F350 w/ 4×4 coversion was the best answer.

I have a 2004 Ford E-250

What modifications have you done for your 4×4?

• Conversion from 2 to 4 wheel drive 
  • Swapped single rear axel for dual rear
  • This work was done by aftermarket conversion Co. 
• Front Shackle swap & new springs with dual Bilsteins up front ( by Robet Plato) 

What do you plan for your next steps in modifying your 4×4?

New springs, air bags, shocks, and traction bars for rear.

What do you find most challenging when lifting your 4×4 truck?

It doesn’t ride like a Caddy anymore!

Where do you go wheeling and what is the terrain like?

Backyards mostly. 

Steep, tight quarters, big logs, beloved landscaping.
