Formula Off Road Reykjavik Iceland 2009 -2 The sixth and final Formula Off Road Icelandic Championship 2009 is at Kollafjordur just north of Reykjavik. Like yesterday the race is also a part of the Nordic Cup. The tracks are a bit different this time although the place is the same.
Formula Off Road Reykjavik Iceland 2009 The fifth Formula Off Road Icelandic Championship 2009 is at Kollafjordur just north of Reykjavik. The race is also a part of the Nordic Cup, but since the competitors can choose to skip two out of 10 competitions none is attending from the other Nordic countries.
Formula Offroad Reykjanes - The sixth and final Icelandic Formula Off Road championship is held at Stapafell. Stapafell is a small mountain on the Reykjanes peninsula just west of Keflavik airport. The sun is shining but the wind is stiff and it feels cold. The tracks are varied and look hard but not impossible.
Are offroad parks the future? - More and more countries on the Old Continent are starting to raise eyebrows when it comes to roaming around in the truck. Countries such as Austria and Switzerland prize their nature so much that off roading is becoming an extinct form of fun. Not only that people who drive off road trucks are being met with a quantity of reticence, but the areas where they are allowed to drive are becoming smaller and smaller.
