Daihatsu Taft F 50 RV, year 1980.
4WD,engine: 2530 cc 4 cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engine, max
power 66 bhp/4000 rpm, max torque 162 Nm/2200rpm, tyre: Bridgestone Jeep
Service 7.00-15.
My car is standard, no major modification on it. I have attached WARN
M-6000 winch and snorkel. But all differentials, engine are original.
The torque of diesel engine which can be reached max torque in low rpm,
enough power to weight ratio, combining with low gear and overall gear
ratios are enough to do offroads, even in tough terrain. I have a plan
to make restoration due many rust on the body.
I like to go offroad around my house. The terrain is mud in the Palm
Plantation. My home is in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia.

My house in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. I'm 34 years old,
have 1 son.
The attachment photos are offroads activity near my house,
inside the Palm Plantation.
Its been rainy days change the field into exciting mud terrain.
I like to take my little son while going offroads, and he is
really happy during the adventure. The photos attached show him
behind the wheel.
Actually I have ever lived in Bandung, West Java. I have Jeep
Club in Bandung. Its name is Paguyuban Jeep Bandung (Bandung
Jeep Community). My friends have many types of trucks, mostly
old jeep but in good conditions. They are Willis Jeep, Land
Rover Defender or 110, Suzuki Jimny, Jeep CJ-7, and LandCruiser
FJ 40. Many types of trucks make us share information about all
type, capability etc of every jeep. I love doing offroads with
my friends in the club around West Java. They are nice and have
much fun, and jokes. They said this offroads activities is nice,
exciting, make refreshment during daily routine works, and also
make a long life. They are also come from many backgrounds which
can make many experiences to share with them. During 2001-2003
We have many offroads around West Java, working with The Tourist
Department, and make offroads to be a part of Tourist
Destination, to see many beautiful places in Indonesia. We also
have Indonesian Offroad Federation here, have to do offroads
with obey the regulation, not to break the environment/nature.
My truck is also help me while doing my works in the fields. It
needs 4WD to deal with the terrain. On 1997, I have works in 16
Inch Gas Piping Installation. Its really exciting while
combining between offroads and working.
Since 2001, I work in Ericsson Indonesia and I have moved to
Medan. Its almost 2000 kms from Bandung. But my truck is still
with me, its only him can help me to build towers in rough
terrains.
My next plan in this truck is to make major modifications on its
body. It gets rust on body during hardworking.
That is the experiences of me and my truck. Wish you and all
