Jeep CJ-7, 6 cylinder in line 4, 200cc (258cid), 1981 made.
One-piece rear axle (Summers Brothers) in LSD equipped AMC Model 20 rear axle, Warn 8274 electric winch, 34"x9.5x15" Super Swamper TSL tyres, Hi-Lift jack, custom roof rack, Garmin GPS, ICOM IC-25H VHF radio, Ericsson Satellite Phone, OMP 4-point safety belts, home made ground anchor. The car has longer wheelbase than stock, with additional 3" each fore and aft, using custom leaf springs with major flex, articulation and comfort ride. Bilstein shock absorbers fitted on all 4 wheels.
Plan to install limited slip diff in front axle and posi locker in rear.
The car has traveled heavy and extreme off-road in the islands of Sumatera, Kalimantan, Java and Bali. Most of the trails are tropical forest with ruts and muds to cope.

I really enjoy seeing real 4WD
vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There
are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.
