Rainy season "fun in the mud" - During December/January 2007 my colleagues and I at I Dream Africa Safaris, had enough of providing exciting 4x4 tours for our clients and needed some dirt time for us selves. Our tour was split in two parts, the first being Dammaraland and Kaokoland in the north west of our country, being Namibia and the second leg being the Okavango Delta in Botswana.

Team Mud in Mac4x4 - Team Mud consists of two brothers from Northern Ireland - Graeme and Chris Elliott - taking part in the Mac4x4 Challenge in March 2007. Graeme is a dentist in Edinburgh and a member of the Scottish Off Road Club and Scottish Land Rover Owners Clubs and Chris is a medical rep in Northern Ireland and a member of the Northern Ireland Land Rover Owners Club.
Me and my friends found this mud pit and got a group together after school to go. I have a Jeep Wrangler, then my friends drive a 4x4 2500 GMC Sierra, a 2WD 1994 Jeep Cherokee. Me and my friend in the GMC could power through it with no problems at all. Even the little 2WD Jeep could make it through...if he hit it going 40mph.
Sweet and Sassy Racing Most 8-year-old kids enjoy playing in the mud. Makayla Galyean has decided to take that one step further. And shes already making a name for herself. Galyean, who is in her first year as a mud racer, is the driver of the Sweet and Sassy Racing truck.
