Rear new fender flare shown
Hello Þrandur and other offroad enthusiasts,
At this moment I am upgrading my Suzuki Jimny once more; raising it from the currently 32" tires onto 37inches...
About 2 years ago I already visited your country with this car and bringing some fender flares from "Alltplast" back home as a souvenir.
The new tires are already fitted, new -stronger- axles are in place and very soon some little longer coil springs.
Now I need some advice how to put the fender flares properly onto the car?
What would be the best option to attach them: 1)glue , 2)kit and/or 3)screws?
And any advice how to fill up the small gaps between the fender flares and the body. Using sandpaper to shape them a little more solves a little bit, but still no tight fitting....
Thanks already for all your input!!!
Greetings out of Holland, Fred
ps. Amazing country you live in!!!
I would advice people NOT to go there......since it can be addictive :o]
I really enjoy seeing real 4WD
vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There
are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.
