Hello!
My name is Jens Grönberg and I`m planning a trip to iceland with Jeep Club Sweden. We planned to drive 4-5 modified and offroadcapable Jeeps on Iceland for one week to see the best parts of Iceland! We will ship our Jeeps to Iceland and I have a hope to go around Iceland, maybe that is a little to long for a week trip?
Our Jeeps run on 35" tires, are capable to go through alteast 1-1.3m of water and we carry all necessary spare parts, fuel and proviants. We planned to sleep in tents made for more extreme conditions. As you probably understand we don`t want to go all of the easy roads, we want 4x4 adventure! But considering tire size we cannot travel on deep snow.
My question is where can I turn to gather information about good 4x4 roads and what time of year is to prefer? We would rather not sleep in temperatures under 0.
Best regards
Jens Grönberg

I really enjoy seeing real 4WD
vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There
are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.

Offroading adventures and also learning from the up and downs of
their adventure!
