RC Formula Offroad Event In Finland
History:
RC Formula Offroad was born in the summer of 2005 in southern Finland.
The very first competition was held in Tampere, Finland. In the wing of
time, the sport has grown and grown. In this year there will be the
first RC Formula Offroad World Championships.
Rules:
The rules are actually quite same as the big ones, try to get to the top
without touching the red and white markers. There are penalty points,
which will be given if you touch the marker. Also if you miss your turn
in the competition. Reversing is not permitted, because there are still
vehicles which, can't reverse.
Cars:
In the races there is three different classes; Modified, Unlimited and
Unlimited XL. In class modified you are allowed to use 1/10 car. In
Unlimited 1/8 and in Unlimited XL 1/5 or 1/6 scale cars.
Competitions:
In competitions there are usually 6-8 courses. One speed stage and all
the other courses are normal. Sometimes there is a possibility to
organize an aqua plating course also. In the middle of the competition
there is an half hour brake.
