Steven Rice as a producer from the Australian 60 minutes contacted me a few weeks ago since he was going to take his team to cover the Icelandic meltdown from a little bit different angle. He wanted to see Formula Off Road 4x4 trucks in action!
The day of the shooting is one of the best days of the month. No wind and no clouds.
Hafsteinn on Zero starts out nicely...
...but the engine is not running like it should.
Joi on the Clown does better with all of his 800 hp...
...but still takes the time to give his son a help with his RC truck.
Meanwhile Liz Hayes from 60 Minutes is interviewing Hafsteinn about the sport and how the economy is effecting him.
Hafsteinn suggests she take a short ride in the truck, but Liz politely declines.
