Formula Off-Road
Off road motor sport at its best. Most powerful specially modified 4x4 vehicles taken to the extreme with full throttle and nitro. Hundreds upon hundreds of horses under the hood.
You got to be interested in the Formula Off Road competition! To introduce this amazing sport I will attend as many of these events as possible. Bringing to you reports with stunning pictures and true stories of the successes and failures in the track.
If you happen to be in Iceland this summer or Finland or Norway this autumn I can guarantee you will have a great time visiting some of the events.

Formula Off Road - Norway 2006 - 2
The second day of competition in Norway is the sixth and final round in the World Cup. It also serves as the final Nordic Countries Cup and the Norwegian Cup. After seeing all the dangerous rollovers yesterday it is decided to lower the risk by making the harder parts of the tracks lower in the slopes. |

Final two rounds of the Formula Off Road World Cup events in 2006 are held in Skien in Norway. Skien is a beautiful small town around 200 km south-west of Oslo. Today is the fifth World Cup event and also serves as part of the Norwegian competition as well as the Nordic countries competition. |

The second day in Finland is the fourth Formula Off Road World Cup event in 2006. After a night of little sleep for many contenders - who were fixing their trucks - the competition will be tough. Weather is cloudy and the forecast is for some showers. Lucky for all it stays dry for the most part. |

Blonduos 2006 The fourth and final Formula Off Road event in the 2006 Icelandic Championship is held in Blonduos. Blonduos is a friendly little town by the north coast of Iceland. The weather man said it would be rain around the country. Lucky for us he proved wrong - hardly a drop fell from the sky. |

Hella 2006 The second day of the Formula Off Road World Cup is also the third Icelandic Championship. A few more competitors have registered for the day in addition to most of guys from yesterday. There will be 8 tracks to compete in today. If the weather was bad yesterday it is twice as bad today. |

World Cup 2006 Formula Off Road World Cup starts of close to the small town of Hella in the south part of Iceland. This is the first of two competitions in two days of the World Cup. The second day will also serve as the Icelandic Championship. |
