Maramures Off Road FestThe outskirts of the Ignis mountains in Romania were home to yet another extraordinary festival. Five editions in, each better than the last, the MMOF has become a tradition for off roaders from hundreds (this year, thousands) of kilometers away. 42 off road trucks answered the invitation.

The Air We Breathe
At the end of April, one of the most important off road clubs in Romania organized an unlikely weekend with an interesting humanitarian action. Club 4x4 Baia Mare chose the last weekend of the month to give back to Mother Nature by planting ten thousand trees in two forests in the northern part of the country.
Suzuki Fest 2009
As we've already been accustomed, the end of the summer brought a new and improved edition of the Suzuki Festival in the heart of Transylvania. To prove that size does not necessarily matter, 28 Suzuki trucks sporting various modifications (from almost standard Jimnyes to a tray back Vitara with Volvo portals and an impressive vacuum - cleaner - hose - type snorkel).

In the hearts of off road lovers, summer has always had a special place. It's the time when we lay back, relax and choose adventure instead of routine. And there's few things more exciting than to set off in your car towards a national or international off road meeting.
Iceland "Baja 1000"
Peter Phillpotts got the idea that the most fantastic off road race could be organised in Iceland, something like the Baja 1000: an A to B race; no laps, just the one run. With the 24 hour summer daylight and rough interior roads this could be big.
Suzuki Festival
When you say Suzuki, you think Grand Vitara, going out on the weekend to the family home which is on a road that's slightly rough, or a barbecue in the forest. But among the few off road lovers, a Suzuki, be it a Samurai, a Vitara or a Jimny is a treasure if modified and cared for properly.
4x4 Show Iceland 2008
The biggest 4x4 show in Iceland to date - and in fact the show with the most vehicles of any kind - is to celebrate the 25 year anniversary of the Icelandic 4x4 Club. Like you probably guess I am there the whole weekend and have a great time. The 130 4x4 trucks or so are arranged in an way to make you enjoy each vehicle on its own terms. A real treat for the eye!
Visiting the Land Rover Billing Show
For those who own a Land Rover or like the legendary vehicles knows that the Billing Show is the place to go. Every year, in the summer, Land Rover Monthly organizes a huge meeting where all the Landy enthusiasts gather to chat, buy Land Rover parts, gear, fill their cars with stickers or just admire other cars.
RC Formula Offroad Event In Finland
There was another round of RC Formula Offroad Finland Cup here in Finland last weekend. Meaning of this sport is quite same as the big ones. Try to get to the top without touching those markers.
4 Wheel Jamboree Nationals
American 4x4 lovers come from far and wide to the annual 4 Wheel Jamboree Nationals in Lima, Ohio. This year, the 3-day event began on May 16th and attracted supped-up trucks big and small. In 2008, the Jamboree Nationals will be hosted by eight separate events in seven states across the U.S.

4x4 Trucks in Iceland

vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There
are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.

Varna as there are vast amounts of tracks and mountains to explore

offroad. this website is a wonderful way for people to learn how.I
