Denmark is hosting the third and fourth round of the Nordic Formula Off Road Championship. Today is the first of two days. The weather is nice today and this looks like a great day for racing.

Arne Johannessen from Norway is competing in the Unlimited class and has a great day

Even after rolling his truck over in the second or third track...

Arne Johannessen wins the race.

Sigurdur Thor Jonsson from Iceland is in the same class as Arne. Here he is just about to roll the Troll in the first track.


After some great driving Sigurdur Thor Jonsson is in second place.

Ole Graversen from Norway ends up in tenth place after having troubles in first and second track.

Christian Austad from Norway does better and ...

... ends up in fifth place.

Thomas Evsater from Sweden is a newcomer to the sport and falls out after first three tracks.

Frederik Sipuri from Sweden rolls his truck over in the first track...

...and even though he finishes some tracks with ease he has difficulties after that.

Janne Bronndal from Norway is competing the in Modified Class. She ends up in fifth place.

Kjetil Håkonsen from Norway does great and wins the Modified Class.

Michael Berg from Denmark competes in the Modified class.


Michael is only a few points from the winner and gets third place.

Sofia Schollin-Borg has moved up to the Unlimited Class rolling her truck in the difficult first track. She ends up in 8th place.

Erik Halvorsen from Norway driving the Suzuki ...

... gets fourth place in the Modified Class.

Daniel G. Ingimundarson from Iceland drives quite well.

Daniel and ends up in sixth place.

Per Anders Nordstedt from Sweden in the Unlimited Class.

Per doing a convincing jump through the 300 point gate.

Ansii Oivanen from Finland gets the second place in the Modified Class.

Gunnar Gunnarsson from Iceland takes an end gate with full force and gets fourth place in the Unlimited Class.

Rolf Keiser from Sweden shows some fantastic driving and gets the third place in the Unlimited Class.

Geir Slatte Kjaer from Norway manages to get safely out of this jump.

And the Danes really know how to make a delicious barbeque.
The three top drivers in the Modified Street class have only 43 points between the first and third place.

Kjetil Håkonsen the winner in the Modified Street Class.

Arne Johannessen is the clear winner In the Unlimited Class with Sigurdur Thor Jonsson and Rolf Keiser following closely. Gunnar Gunnarsson, Christian Austad and Daniel G. Ingimundarson are really close to Rolf with just a handful of points separating the four.

I really enjoy seeing real 4WD
vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There
are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.

to catch up on, i am going to get involved in a 4x4 club here in
Varna as there are vast amounts of tracks and mountains to explore
the news letter is boss:) and i especially like to look at readers
rigs

vehicles to go offroad, or know how to get themselfs prepared to go
offroad. this website is a wonderful way for people to learn how.I
even learn some new tricks.thanks
