Hello Thrandur and everyone, I hop you all are havine fun in the snow with your rigs this winter!!!
Tires are 21/44-16.5 STS's, wheels are 16.5x10 for now, waiting on some 16.5x12 wheels to come in, I planned on making them into 16.5x13 beadlocks. I've ran the 10" wide wheels and tires consistantly at 12psi this winter so far with good results. I was thinking of getting some 14" wide wheels to help get a flatter footprint for the tires and maybe beadlock them next year into a 15" wide. If I did the 14" wide, what's the lowest psi I can safely run, shoud I think about still using the 12" wide?
Thrandur passed on this item for tire glueing to the wheel,
http://www.sika.com.au/cmc/Datasheets/t ... FC_tds.pdf
haven't done it yet because I'm not sure how well it would work for dismounting if I want to switch the tires to a beadlock.
So to summarize, here's the q's I have for everyone:
Lowest PSI for 44" STS on:
12" wheel, no glue
12" wheel, glue
14" wheel, no glue
14" wheel, glue
Thanks again, and for the record the STS's are aweome, I have them studded, great traction and quite smooth once warmed up. My 454 has no problem spinning them, once with lockers and my new Holley Truck Avenger carb it will be even better!

I really enjoy seeing real 4WD
vehicles in real situations where they are needed. There
are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.
