4x4 Toyota - Cool 4x4 Toyota Vehicles
The first 4x4 Toyota were of course originally made for military purposes and provided a sturdy driveline but little comfort. Nowadays 4x4 Toyotas span the spectrum from the simple HiLux to the luxurious Land Cruiser - all capable off-roads.
4x4 Chevy - Cool 4x4 Chevy Trucks
Chevrolet comes from a bit different direction. It's origins can be traced to trucks first made in 1947. It was only later that 4 wheel drive was introduced in a Chevy. Popular models include the Blazer and the line of pickup trucks.
4x4 Ford - Cool 4x4 Ford Trucks and SUVs
First 4x4 Fords ware made from a license after the blueprints for the Willys. From the relative comfort of the early Bronco to today's huge F-350s that provide enough hardware to drive 46 inch tires and even larger - Ford has a wide spectrum of choice.
Jeep - Cool 4x4 Jeep Offroad Vehicles
From the very first Jeep built in 1940 for the military it's main purpose has been to take it off-roads. To this day the Jeep is extremely popular for all kinds of use and modifications.
4x4 Dodge - Cool 4x4 Dodge Rigs
Dodge started early making light pickup trucks. In 1946 it made the first 4x4 truck and later the popular Power Wagon. Dodge has since continued a strong line and also moved into luxury SUV production like the Durango.
Land Rover / Range Rover - Cool 4x4 Land Rover SUVs
Early on the Land Rover was designed and built on a similar concept as the Jeep. Coming from a farmer in UK it was primarily an agricultural tool. It provided little comfort and shelter but today's Range Rovers and Discoveries provide more than enough.|

Mercedes Benz makers of the legendary Unimog since right after WWII have also made usable SUV's like the G model and the more luxurious M Class.
4x4 Suzuki - Cool 4x4 Suzuki Vehicles
Suzuki started making 4x4's in the 60's. It started out very basic and has kept that tradition. Jimny, Samurai, Sierra and later the much improved Vitara and Grand Vitara. Affordable and light vehicles.
4x4 Mitsubishi - Cool Mitsubishi Rigs
Starting 4x4 production with the L200 pickup in the 70s and then in 1982 the advanced and popular Shogun (Montero or Pajero in some parts of the world).
4x4 GMC - Cool 4x4 GMC Trucks and SUVs
GMC brand 4x4s are really the same 4x4 trucks and SUV's that are also branded as Chevrolet.
4x4 Nissan - Cool 4x4 Nissan Rigs
Nissan is the second biggest auto maker in Japan. Years ago they were called Datsun but changed the name to Nissan. Pickup trucks from Nissan have been popular for a long time and the Patrol SUV is extremely capable off road and for modifications.
4x4 Isuzu - Cool 4x4 Isuzu Vehicles
Isuzu is one of the oldest truck producers in Japan. Trucks of all sizes from Isuzu have been popular for a long time and the Trooper is a well designed SUV that is unfortunately no longer manufactured.

are so many highway bound posers that never go off the
pavement here that seeing life or death 4 wheeling in
Iceland is really refreshing.
